The exciting new 2005 Mustang GT is the perfect vehicle for developing performance products for “real world” street cars. We initially used our Mustang for the development of the 2005 Mustang GT Nitrous System (part #82034). It was fun spraying a car with only 650 miles on the odometer! After successfully completing our nitrous system development, we decided to get the car handling and looking “right”. We initially installed a set of Eibach lowering springs, tinted the windows, and put a set of Bridgestone 255/50/17 Potenza, RE750 tires on the stock Bullitt wheels. This totally changed the stance of the car and we were pretty happy with it’s looks. Soon after, we wanted to step-up the straight line performance of the car, so we added a set of Richmond 4.33 rearend gears. The improvement in acceleration was incredible; we recommend this modification to anyone! We will be visiting the drag strip soon and will give a full report on the performance of the car and the improvement from the nitrous system. Future plans for the project Mustang will include 3-valve, 4.6 camshaft testing for Comp Cams, our parent company.
